Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at sj@littlepawsbrisbane.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Little Paws Brisbane is a small dog focused service, created with the needs of smaller breeds in mind. Our community is predominantly made up of oodles and poodle cross breeds, including Cavoodles, Moodles and similar friendly, social dogs.. However we welcome all small breeds!

We also welcome oodles of all sizes and may accept some medium sized dogs depending on their breed, temperament and play style. Group compatibility and safety are always our priority.

If you are unsure whether your dog is a suitable fit, please get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your dog’s individual needs and personality.

If you do not see your suburb listed but you are located close to one of our service areas, please feel free to contact us. We are always happy to discuss your location and assess whether we are able to accommodate you based on our current routes and availability.

Dogs in our care are transported in fully air conditioned, dog friendly vehicles that are set up specifically with comfort and safety in mind.

Most outings take place in the Little Paws van, which is thoughtfully fitted out to securely transport dogs in a calm and controlled environment. On Fridays, outings are run by Kelly using her vehicle, which is set up to the same high standard with air conditioning, secure travel arrangements and comfortable bedding.

Regardless of which vehicle your dog travels in, every journey is closely supervised and designed to be relaxed, safe and stress free. Transport is an important part of the Little Paws experience and we take great care to ensure dogs feel settled and comfortable from pick up to drop off.

From pick up to drop off, the full Little Paws experience usually runs for up to two hours. This includes travel time plus a full hour at the park packed with play, social time and adventure.

It is the perfect way to break up a long day at home and give your dog something exciting to look forward to. Most pups come home happy, tired and ready for a solid nap, which is always a win and value for money!

A lot of fun, a lot of enrichment and a very well spent outing.

Absolutely. We highly recommend a meet and greet for all new clients before their first booking.

This gives you the opportunity to meet either SJ or Kelly, introduce us to your dog in their home environment and talk through their routine, personality and any specific needs. It also allows us to confirm pick up and drop off access and discuss a secure key solution, so everything runs smoothly from day one.

Meet and greets help set dogs up for a positive and stress free experience and give owners confidence knowing their dog is in familiar, trusted hands.

Meet and greets may incur a fee depending on time and location.

Access arrangements vary from home to home and will be discussed during your meet and greet.

For clients with set, consistent days that do not require keys to be shared between team members, we are able to securely hold onto keys if required. In other cases, we will organise a secure access solution such as a lock box, side gate access or coordinated pick up if you are working from home.

Clear communication and secure access are important parts of ensuring your dog is collected and returned safely and smoothly each time.

We generally run two group outings per day.

Morning pick ups usually take place between 7.30 and 9.00 am, with the second group pick ups occurring between 11.00 am and 12.30 pm. Exact times can vary day to day depending on factors such as group sizes, locations and traffic conditions.

Outing times may also be adjusted seasonally to prioritise dog comfort and safety. During the warmer months, outings can start earlier, with pick ups beginning from as early as 7.00 am to avoid the heat.

If you are going to be home, we will always aim to let you know when we are on our way so you can be prepared.
